Regarding this blog which talks about the addition of soft reset to the GO command: https://www.pemicro.com/blog/index.cfm?post_id=232 - Is there a specific release of PROGACMP that includes this feature (couldn't find any reference to it in the Version Info & Release Notes)?
Can the parameter for the GO command be included in a command line script to automatically start a device after flashing it without user interaction?
Hi Mark,
Thanks for reaching out with this request. The hard vs soft reset capabilities with the "GO" command were added into PROG 8.76 so this would be the minimum requirement for this support. We will be updating the blog post to reflect this.

Hi Steve,
thanks for confirming which version of PROGACMP is required for the enhanced GO command support. Can you confirm that I could also use "GO 1" or "GO 0" in a command line script too?
Mark
Hi Mark,
Sorry for the delay. I also answered this in the forum with Dermot Smith. The parameter for the "GO" command is either 0 (hard reset) or 1 (soft reset). For hard reset, the target processor MUST have the RESET line connected from the hardware. Soft reset depends on the specific target processor you are using, however, in most cases we are using AIRCR to reset the processor.
