BERG14-TO-MICTOR38: 14-Pin Berg to 38-Pin Mictor adapter
Designed for the following architectures:
- NXP Qorivva PowerPC Nexus MPC55xx/56xx/57xx
- ST SPC5
Designed to work with:
CABLE-CF-ADAPTER:
Note: The previous version of the adapter integrated a ribbon cable. The current version does not integrate the ribbon cable, it should be provided by the user.
Synchronized debug communication signals are required for a few of the older ColdFire devices. This 26-pin synchronous adapter has integrated electronics to synchronize the ColdFire debug communication signals to the PSTCLK signal generated from a ColdFire target. The legacy USB-ML-CFE Multilink does not require this adapter cable as it inherently includes both synchronous and asynchronous circuitry.
Designed for the following devices:
- NXP ColdFire MCF5272
- NXP ColdFire MCF5206(E)
Designed to work with:
CU-CUFX-STM8-ADPT:
This optional adapter converts from a standard 6-pin target header to a 4-pin ERNI connector. The adapter plugs into the 6-pin header (PORT F) on your Cyclone_Universal or Cyclone_Universal_FX. See the Cyclone LC or Cyclone FX user manuals for pin-out signals and additional information.
Designed for the following architectures:
Designed to work with:
CUFX-RENESAS-ADPT: Cyclone FX Universal only
This part number includes both the adapter and the 4-pin ribbon cable.
The Renesas Adapter for Cyclone FX Universal allows the user to program supported Renesas devices using the Cyclone Universal FX programmer. The adapter plugs into Port C and Port E of the Cyclone and connects to the target via a 14-pin ribbon cable (included with the Cyclone FX Universal). View the Cyclone FX user manual for more detailed information. Our support page shows lists of supported Renesas devices.
NOTE: This adapter is NOT required for ARM-based Renesas devices that PEmicro supports, such as Synergy S5/S7 and RA series. See our Renesas Support page for a list of supported Renesas families.
Users who are transitioning from the Cyclone for Renesas to the Cyclone FX Universal may wish to read this blog post about the newer, more advanced technology that the Cyclone FX Universal offers. The newer Cyclone is a more versatile, powerful tool which helps make the programming process more efficient.

ML-MLFX-RS08-ADPT:
PEmicro's newest Multilink Universal debug probe (part# USB-ML-UNIVERSAL, Rev. E or later) requires this RS08 adapter to allow the user to communicate with NXP's RS08 devices.
The RS08 connection otherwise remains the same, and uses the same 6-pin pinout described in the Multilink Universal technical summary.
RS08 Adapter for Multilink Universal Rev. E
The part number and revision of the Multilink are located on the underside label of the Multilink.
As shown in the figure above, the adapter connects to the 16-pin header (Port E) of the Multilink Universal. The adapter then offers a 6-pin header for connection to the target via ribbon cable.
