The individual ICS08 software packages contain a chip specific ICS full chip simulator, the WinIDE integrated development environment, the PROG08SZ Interactive MON08 Flash/EEPROM Programmer, and the ICD08SZ Real Time In-Circuit Debugger.

The PROG08SZ software package contains both the PROG08SZ Interactive MON08 Flash/EEPROM Programmer, and the ICD08SZ Real Time In-Circuit Debugger.

The ICS08 and ICD08SZ feature assembly source-level debugging using the PEmicro MAP file format as well as C source-level debugging using ELF/DWARF v2.0 or ImageCraft v1.1 debug file format.
