PEmicro simplfies the debugging process with its powerful yet intuitive tools. To get started you will need PEmicro's in-circuit debugger software (ICD) and a hardware interface that each support your specific architecture. The hardware interface connects your PC to the target board and allows the debugger software to communicate with your target. The software uses the target processor's debug mode to grant the user access to all on-chip resources.
PEmicro offers a variety of full-featured debugger software, each with support for a specific architecture.

Hardware options for debugging include PEmicro's Multilink debug probes and our line of Cyclone in-system programmers.
The USB Multilink is an affordable option with a small footprint that allows your PC to communicate with the target via USB.
The Cyclone is a more robust solution which will transition seamlessly to production. It also offers the flexibilty of USB, Serial port, and Ethernet communications.
Users will need to find the particular interface which supports their architecture.
If you are working with ARM Cortex devices, such as NXP's Kinetis or an ARM device from a different manufacturer, view PEmicro's full list of supported ARM Cortex devices at our ARM device resource page.
ARM and Cortex are registered trademarks of ARM Limited (or its subsidiaries) in the EU and/or elsewhere. Kinetis is a registered trademark of NXP Semiconductors.
