To whom it may concern,
I am currently try to program Coldfire v4 MCF54415CMJ250 with my Cyclone LC Universial Programmer, but so far it is not successful. The programmer can't not see the target. So I have the question whether I need to buy the Cable-CF-Adapter to enable the Cyclone LC to see/program the target MCU ? It is quite confusing when reading about the Cable-CF-Adapter as some of Coldfire MCU doesn't need the Adapter to program. Thank you very much.
Updated: When trying to connect to MCF54415, I used oscilloscope and see:
1/ BKPT (Pin-2), DSI (Pin-8), and DSCLK (Pin-4) signals are driven low.
2/ RESET (Pin-7) is driven low for 20+ milliseconds and released.
3/ After RESET is released, PST0 (Pin-15), PST1 (Pin-14), PST2 (Pin-13) and
PST3 (Pin-12) lines are low. They should be driven high but they are not.
Is Cyclone LC Universial Programmer capable to program MCF54415 ? With or
without the Cable CF Adapter ?
Additional detail: I am using Cyclone LC UNIVERSIAL with PROGCFZ programmer version 9.76.00.00.

You don't need the Cable CF Adatpter. That is only required for the MCF506(E)
and MCF5272.
