The multi link universal FX debugger prompts during flash programming of MPC5777C that the target may have entered a reset upgrade. Please restart the circuit board.

The most likely issue is there is something on your reset line that is affecting communication. Look for any external watchdog timers and turn them off. Does the yellow LED turn off after you try to connect? Check for a System Bus Chip that might be turning off power to parts of your circuit board including the microcontroller.

If you have an external watchdog or System Bus Chip, it will be on your schematic. Are you able to share a schematic of your board with us? If that is possible, please open a ticket through our non-public support request system:

If you cannot share it, then the best thing to do is to reach out to the design engineer of the board.
