MPC565 support for Multilink Universal FX

I'm trying to debug a legacy product with NXP MPC565 with Multilink Universal FX. I'm using S32 Design Studio with Wind River Diab Compiler. In the Debug Configuration, I'm unable to see MPC565 in the Device Name list. I've installed the latest PEMicro eclipse plugin.

Greetings,

S32 IDE would be the wrong IDE, this only supports ARM architecture. GDB server and PEmicro eclipse plugin is only for ARM architecture.

Please consult with NXP to get the right IDE for your needs.
Multilink Universal FX is the right hardware to use, you just have the wrong software setup.

Takao

There is an S32 Design Studio for Power PC architecture.
Based on the article on PEmicro blog post (https://www.pemicro.com/blog/index.cfm?post_id=180), there is a PEmicro eclipse plugin for this IDE.

Any update on this?

Greetings,

The S32 Power IDE is for PowerPC Nexus architecture, based on the e200 core. Not the PPC BDM architecture.
Again, please consult with NXP. We do not have an IDE to recommend for you for your project.
