I have USB-ML-UNIVERSAL-FX (REV.C). I hope to use it to supply power to target MCU. what should I do?
Also, what are the functions of JP10 and J2?
Hi,
From the technical summary of the USB-ML-UNIVERSAL-FX (REV.C)
https://www.pemicro.com/downloads/download_file.cfm?download_id=376
1. Providing Power To Target
When using the the Multilink Universal FX, if the user wishes to provide power to the target the JP10 Jumper (FX only) is used to enable this option and select the voltage. A shunt at position 1-2 enables 5V, while a shunt at position 2-3 enables 3.3V. The JP10 jumper is for providing 3.3V or 5V to the target VCC pin.
2. The USB-ML-UNIVERSAL-FX must be selected from the interface drop down in the software.
3. The option 'Provide Power to target' must be checked.

However, I didn't find any description about J2 in this document.
The functionality of J2 is disabled at this time. The jumper should be left in place.
