Can I debug the CodeWarrior code using the MultiLink Universal Pod?

  • Hello,
We bought the MultiLink Universal Pods to debug the CodeWarrior code (HC12). I can connect the pod to the target and load .ABS files and run the target. However, when I try to open the source files, I get the message window saying "No source file found". Do you know why?

  • Greetings,

Most popular reason for not seeing source is because you moved the ABS file. If you are the person who compiled it, load the ABS file from where it was generated.

Another reason for this problem is if in compiler settings you did not set debug on. Or if you specified the folder of sources files, but not the files itself.

  • Thank you for your quick response. When I made sure that I loaded the ABS file from where it was generated, I was able to open the source files.
