Multilink Univ FX with PROG32Z AM29F800BB CAN NOT ERASE

  • Hi,

I used Multilink Univ FX with PROG32Z (Ver5.74.0.0) to program AM29F800BB through MC68376. OS=windows10. I tried 20 different algorithm files. Found one file 'AMD_29F800B-B_1x16x512kx3_331_csboot_cs0_cs5' can be used for programming. However, none of those algorithm files can be used for Erasing.
    Please help!

  • When I use this algorithm file 'AMD_29F800B-B_1x16x512k_CS2' and try 'View Module Data' command on a brand new flash chip, it shows ALL FF and it says 'Module has been erased' when I try 'Erase Module' command.

However, when I use another algorithm file 'AMD_29F800B-B_1x16x512kx3_331_csboot_cs0_cs5' on the same chip, I see some non-FF garbage data after the 'View Module Data' command. And it tells me 'Module could not be erased'.
