Possible failures of IC 74LVC126A in PE Micro Multilink universal

  • Hello all,
I'm using PE Micro Multilink universal for my MPC5602 on CW 2.9 platform. Earlier I used it several times for programming and it worked absolutely fine. Yesterday, I tried to program a new one it came as Debugger trying force to background mode. I check the debugger, as I could feel the burnt smell from the debugger, I found there is a damage in IC 74LVC126A. So I changed another debugger and programmed it successfully. But immediately the second time I try to program I can see the same Error and the same IC got failed in as similar manner.

    Now I want to know
The possible reasons for failing the IC 74LVC126A?
If I replace a new IC, will it work normally?

    Thanks in advance,

    • This will be resolved in the support ticket.
