How to replace BDM 16/32 adapter with Multilink Universal FX

  • Until now we have loaded our devices with the obsolete BDM 16/32 LPT adapter and a special .DO file (see example below). As the BDM 16/32 adapter is no more available, we want to replace it with the Multilink Universal FX adapter. Can somebody tell me how to proceed with this adapter. Note: Currently we are using P&E Coldfire Debugger 5.74.00.00 with the Multilink Universal Rev.D adapter for another types of devices.

  • I forgot to mention, that the old devices, which have been loaded with BDM 16/32 adapter, have a Motorola M68340 CPU
    and the new devices, which are loaded with Multilink Universal Rev.D adapter have a Motorola MCF5329 CPU.
    I assume, that I need another toolset for M68340, i.e. that the ColdFire Debugger ICDCFZ is not working with M68340 CPU. Is this true? If yes, which toolset do I need?
