I need more explanation about Error Code $00007

  • Hello..

I have 3 Cyclon Maxes in my office..

    But, they don't work..

When I use them, 2 of them display a error code "$0007" which means "Error

    entering debug mode".

I need more explanation about this..

And, I wonder whether they are broken down or board has a problem.

  • Greetings,

All error codes can be found in your cyclone user manual. The last chapter has a list of codes and their definition.

Error $0007 indicates problems communicating to the board. This means your connection to the cyclone is fine. But there are problems between the cyclone and the chip. This can be anything from power issues, communication was lost due to watchdog or faulty cables, reset circuitry taking longer than expected, and multiple other causes. Best to use an oscilloscope on the most important signals and see what is going on.
