Multilink Universal does not work under MCUXpresso IDE

  • I tried to debug my target board (which has NXP MKE14Z Cortex M0+ micro) with Multilink Universal under MCUXpresso IDE. It looks like the Multilink Universal is found by the IDE; however, I got an error message as follows:

'Launching test_project debug' has encountered a problem. Program file does not exist.

What program file does this refer to? I built the project successfully and the
.axf, .bin as well as .hex file are generated.

  • Greetings,

Within MCUXpresso, if you created a default project for your device and without any modification to the project or debug configurations, are you able to connect to your device?

  • I'm now connected to the project. Thanks.

  • it would be nice to know what fixed this
