  • Hello, Heres the scope:
I am using a M68HC08 motorola microcontroller to broadcast my postcode using 8 LED's. Just using call fucntions and subroutines really. The code all works but here lies my problem.

When I select the algorithm (908_GP32.08P and the high speed one) It comes back with the error "Loading programming algorithm... error writing data block to part. Disabling block write"

I have also has the error "Programming and verfiying address $E000Error writing block to part"

Any and all help would be a great problem.I am new to assembly so please explain as if I am child :P

    • Luke,

Was this part previously programmed with reset vectors and security bytes or is it a virgin part? If it was previously programmed, then a high voltage needs to be applied to either reset or IRQ to enter monitor mode and/or erasing the flash. These pins would need to be connected in order for our programming interface to accomplish that. What does your pinout look like?
