SPC564A80L7 Mixed Mode Debugging

  • Hello,

I am trying to debug a mixed mode program(both VLE and booke) on the SPC564A80L7 microcontroller. I found directions showing how to allow for VLE or booke using the .mac files. I used the mpc5674F_vle.mac for my macro. This works for VLE and the booke works as well, but neither seem to work for BOTH.

Is there a change that needs to be made to one of these to allow for both to work or can I use another .mac file for this?

(I also tried the mpc5500_any_init.mac file and it did not work)

    Thanks,
    Victor

  • Greetings,

You need to modify the MMU in the macro to set certain parts of memory to be VLE and others to be BookE. Open up the macro file in a text editor and see how both macros are setup and make the necessary changes to fit your needs.

  • Greetings,

Were you able to modify the MMU to get both VLE and BookE to work?
