  • Hi Mr support,
I want to know about that:A cyclone universal programmer can program two MCUs or more at the same time?

  • The cyclone is not a gang programmer, but if you are using ARM we can do daisy chaining.

  • Hi,

For STM32 controller can we use daisy chain?
If yes, How can i configure parameters for daisy chain in image creation utility?
Where should i get jtag pre ir bits?

  • Yes for ST you can use daisy chaining!

    How are your devices configured?

  • Hi kevin,

Where i will get pre jtag IR bits value for controller?

  • Here is the basic idea:

JTAG devices are in a chain. When specifying a certian device you need to numbers.

    1. The index of the device in the chain, or the tap number. The device connected to TDI is tap number 0, the next is 1 and so on.

    2. The number of pre ir bits. Every jtag device has an IR register that is a certain width in bits. In your chain the number of pre ir bits is the sum of all of the IR registers between your device and the TDO pin.

    Does that make sense?
