  • Hi,

I currently use the NXP MPC5634m microcontroller in combination with the Codewarrior IDE and the Multilink Universal.
I am going to use the NXP MPC5746r in combination with the NXP S23ds IDE. Can i still use my Multilink Universal? Or do i have to buy something else like the Universal FX ?

  • Greetings,

If you check our multilink universal website you will find that we support all MPC5xxx devices:

My suggestion for all users of PowerPC Nexus devices is to get the multilink universal FX because you will be able to flash program at about 10x the speed compared to non-FX multilink universal. This is even more important if you are programming more than 256KB because the time savings becomes more apparent.
