PEDrivers_install.exe can't be installed due to being blocked/removed by Symantec

  • Hi,
I am using a NXP Development board (FRDM-KL26Z) which features an OpenSDA hardware platform. Part of the setup requires downloading a driver for the computer virtual COM port. However, when I tried to download the driver (PEDrivers_install.exe) from this web site, the anti-virus program Symantec in my computer detected and removed it saying it's unsafe.
Can somebody help me to overcome this problem?

    • I have just figured it out in case someone is interested. Click on the details of the Symantec message after the file was removed. There is an option to restore the file if we wish to do so. Thanks.
