  • Is there a way to store the “.sap” image on a VOLATILE memory at my Cyclone PRO? In other words, is there a way to program the Cyclone PRO, and if I turn it off, it will lose the image (in case of someone steal my Cyclone PRO)?

  • Greetings,

No, there is no way to store the SAP image in a special way to secure it. What you could do instead if use the PROG software found in your cyclone software package and manually program your chip. This prevent the need to load an image onto your cyclone.

However, we have made changes in our next generation of cyclones called Cyclone Universal FX to have the ability to only work between specified dates and number of times to execute. This helps prevent even stolen cyclones to only work for some time.

    • Thank you!
