W10 xilinx P&E windriver conflict

  • Similar to FAQ ID # 225. Under W10 when the windriver for P&E MULTILINK UNIVERSAL is installed my xilinx platform cable immediately stops working.  Re-installing xilinx drivers as per instructions here:
    http://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/54381.html
    restores the xilinx platform cable but on use of the P&E the xilinx platform cable stops working again.
