how to blank check using cyclonepro Controller MC9S08SG8

  • Plz suggest how to blank check microcontroller  MC9S08SG8 which is Blank or already programmed.

    Also need support for to avoid frequently switches damages in mass production (Cyclone Pro) .


  • Greetings,

    There are 2 ways you could blank check your micro.

    1) Use PROG for HCS08 found in your Cyclone pro software package and after loading the algorithm for your device you can call the blank check command.

    2) You can create a standalone image and load it into your cyclone pro. This image can simply load the algorithm and call the blank check command. If it fails, that means the chip is not blank. If it passes, then the chip is completely blank.
