  • My Multilink stops working after PC power on (boot).
When the Multilink is connected with USB cable to my notebook and I power up my notebook, then the blue LED is on, but durning boot the blue LED turns off and stays off.
Workaround it to discunnet and reconnect the USB cable.

It there any SW,e tc. update to fix this problem?

  • Greetings,

Could you tel me which multilink and its revision you are using? If you have the latest multilinks (USB Multilink universal rev C and USB Multilink Universal FX rev B) then this would not be a problem. We switched to newer USB chips that do not have this problem.

  • Its a USB BDM MultiLink Rev.C (sticker on the back of the MultiLink)

  • Greetings,

BDM multilink is not the same as the USB Multilink UNIVERSAL. You have an older multilink and it does not have the new USB chip. You will have to continue to reconnect the multilink on a computer reboot.

  • Thx - for the very quick response!!!

  • You are welcome.

Do you have any other questions or concerns?
