USB multilink interface and Kinetis EA series

  • Hello,
is the PE micro USB Multilink interface suitable for the Kinetis EA series?
which IDE / debugger do you suggest?
    thank you for your reply.

  • Greetings,

Any P&E hardware interface that claims to work on Kinetis ARM will support the KEA series.

My suggestion is the USB Multilink Universal if you are going for cheap, but it will be the slowest and the least suggested for production. If your company works with other Freescale devices or other ARM not from Freescale, then this device will support it:

The best IDE is the Kinetis Design Studio, because it is free from Freescale!

Yes, the USB Multilink Universal will work on KDS otherwise I would not suggest it. If you want to know which devices it currently supports, go to our algorithms page:
