How to use "compare_image_with_file" command in C#?
Kevin X. Mar 10, 2015 at 02:34 AM (02:34 hours)
Staff: Johnny N.

  • I want to use command "compare_image_with_file" to judge if the stored image in Cyclone Pro is the right one, but when I use the sentence as bellow in C#, the value of "CompareResult" is always the "TRUE", no matter the compared image is right or wrong.

    CompareResult = multiple_cyclone_programming.compare_image_with_file(handle, "C:\\AMP1-2014-05-14.SAP", 1);

    Any other commands work properly except this one. Can anyone help to check what is the problem with the function?

    • Kevin,

      I sent you a copy of our C# header file in a zip file.

      You will see that we have to marshal ([return: MarshalAs(UnmanagedType.I1)]) the "bool" data type to a 1-byte signed integer to make the function work.

      Please let me know if you have any other questions or need further assistance.
      I'll be interested to know if you area able to resolve this issue.

  • Johnny,

    After updating with the C# header file you sent, the problem solved.
