  • Hi

I have a problem with CProgACMP and Multilink Universal.
Not able to program Kinetis KE02Z16M2

    The log file says:
    P&E Interface detected - Flash Version 6.10
    CMD>RE ; Reset the MCU
Initializing. -Target has been RESET and is active.
    CMD>CM C:\Proj\Tordivel\Ksw\ssm_test\freescale_ke02z16m2_pflash_eeprom.arp
    Initializing. - Frequency ~ 16763921
    (Recommended TRIM=$007B,FTRIM=1) -Initialized.
    ;version 1.00, 04/15/2013, Copyright P&E Microcomputer Systems, [ke_16k_pflash_dflash_ftmrh]
    ;device freescale, ke02z16m2, pflash_eeprom
    ;begin_cs device=$00000000, length=$10000100, ram=$20000000
    Loading programming algorithm ... Done.
    CMD>SS C:\Proj\Tordivel\Ksw\ssm_test\ssm.hex
    CMD>EN ; Erase the module
    Blank Checking ...
Module byte not erased at address $00000000 byte is $00.
Erasing. -Module could not be erased.
    ERROR 24 during script!

With Freescale KDS, it works fine. What could be the reason?

  • Greetings,

What version of the PROG software do you have? Only the latest version can support the KE02 chip. And you will need to run a "/device" parameter to support it as well. If you do not have this version, you need to upgrade your software.

Our software upgrade policy is that you get free software upgrade for the first year after purchase. 50% discount if within 2 years of purchase. Otherwise you will need to buy at full price the software to get the latest.

Note, we do plan on releasing an even newer version very soon where you will NOT need to run such parameter like "/device" to support your chip. I can let you know when it is publicly released.

  • The commands :USESWD 1 and :DEVICE KE02 did not make any changes.
I purchased the CProgACMP october 8th this year. When the program starts, I read "CPROGACMP Programmer for Freescale - Version" at the top of the window. The CProgACMP.exe file is dated June 26th 2014, and size = 2331168 bytes. How do I get version

  • Greetings,

Please create a support ticket so that I can assist you with getting the latest version. I cannot post files on the forum.

  • Greetings,

The newest PROGACMP has just been released. I hope this resolves your issues with working with your KE02 chip.
