Commands for ICDPPCNEXUS

  • Hello,
Where can I find a list of commands I can use with my debugger? I'm interested in erasing flash memory on my MPC5516 but it would be nice to know other commands as well.

  • Greetings,

Have you taken a look at the manual? Go to your ICDPPCNEXUS directory and look for the ICDPPCNEXUS.HLP file. There is a chapter on commands you can use like setting breakpoints, changing RAM and register data, resetting and loading an ELF file, etc. You can also open the help file within ICDPPCNEXUS by tying "Help".

If the HLP file does not open correctly, that means you are using a Windows 7 machine or newer. For some odd reason Microsoft changed what the HLP file extension is meant for. To fix this issue, please go to this Microsoft support website to get it working:

  • Greetings,

Were you able to find the commands you were looking for?
