HCS08SE trim programming

  • Hello,

I am programming the MC9S08SE4 device using progHCS08. When programming the trim value, the current .S8P file seems to default to a bus frequency of 8 MHz (with the lower reference trim limit for the device of 31.25 kHz). What changes to the programming algorithm are required to achieve a bus frequency of 10 MHz, (with a reference frequency of 39.0625 kHz)?

Better still, is it possible to specify the internal reference frequency required when the program is run, in a manner similar to CodeWarrior debug operation?

    Regards,
    Mac

  • Hi Mac,

Please submit a support request on our website specifying your desired internal reference frequency for trim calculation. We will be able to provide a custom algorithm for you to use in PROGHCS08.

    Best regards,
    Edison
