  • It looks like PROG32Z does not recognize .X file. Does PROG32Z support .X file in some way? Any suggestion on how to convert .X to .S19 if PROG32Z support .X at all? Thanks

  • Greetings,

I have never heard of .x as a file extension for any kind of binary. What compiler/assembler generates a .x file?

If you open it in a text editor, is it readable? or do you see lots of unknown random symbols?

    • Hi, Takao,
It shows random symbols. That means it is not the right format?

  • Greetings,

No, that means it is in executable format, like an ELF file.

When you open PROG32Z and when you prompt to select the binary file (SS command) try typing in *.* into the text field. What this does is it allows you to see ALL files instead just filtering out binary files. This will allow you to select the .x file and see if you can program with it.

  • Greetings,

    Any update on this?
