ICDPPCNEXUS and PROGPPCNEXUS trial versus unlimited

  • Hello, given the following requirements:
    - Disassembly level debugging (no source level debugging and no source building requirement)
    - Flashing of large images (over 64K)

Would it be acceptable to purchase the unlimited version of PROGPCCNEXUS for flashing while just using the trial version of ICDPPCNEXUS for debugging? If not, why?

I'm asking because this option is cheaper than purchasing the full version of the debugger (which, if I understand correctly, includes the prog software), and seems to meet my requirements.

    Thanks!

  • Greetings,

With no source level debugging, you could get away with the trial version of ICD. Have you tried it and it seems to meet your needs then I would say go with your plan. I see no problems there.
