P&E offers ICS08 software packages, as well as the PROG08SZ interactive programmer package, for a broad range of HC08 parts. These individual software packages are available on our website at no charge - please click on "FAQs, Manuals,& Downloads" tab for a complete listing.
User manuals and addenda are also available by clicking on "Documentation." Please note: The software may be downloaded from P&E's website and used at no charge, but it is copyrighted software and may not be resold or redistributed.
The individual ICS08 software packages contain a chip specific ICS full chip simulator, the WinIDE integrated development environment, the PROG08SZ Interactive MON08 Flash/EEPROM Programmer, and the ICD08SZ Real Time In-Circuit Debugger.
The PROG08SZ software package contains both the PROG08SZ Interactive MON08 Flash/EEPROM Programmer, and the ICD08SZ Real Time In-Circuit Debugger.
The ICS08 and ICD08SZ feature assembly source-level debugging using the P&E MAP file format as well as C source-level debugging using ELF/DWARF v2.0 or ImageCraft v1.1 debug file format.
You may also order the ICS08_ALL for a nominal fee. This CD-ROM contains the complete offering of P&E's ICS08 software, along with PROG08SZ. The ICS08_ALL includes:

I am using the PROG08SZ flash programmer, Mon08 Cyclone, or Cyclone Pro to program 68HC908QY, 68HC908QT, 68HC908LB, or 68HC908QL devices and sometimes the devices do not verify. What is the problem? |

I am using one of your MON08 interfaces to debug my target and also to supply it a clock across the ribbon cable. Supplying the clock couples noise into the other MON08 signals, how can I decrease this? |

I am getting an EPrivilege Exception when running P&E software. What is the problem? |

Is it possible to stop a running HC08 target? Whenever I issue a "stop" command to my running target, I seem to lose communication and I get the "Ping, Reset, Abort" dialog! |

I try to install your software, but installation fails with this message:
