Error in ONCE status register

I'm using a PPC Nexus USB JTAG Device (I have two of them actually). I've been using them for months without any problem with CodeWarrior 2.8 and both the MPC5645S (rainbow) and MPC5606S (spectrum) devices.

Just yesterday both Nexus JTAG devices stopped debugging on both hardware platforms. I can flash my hardware correctly (by CPROGPPPZ via the FLOAD command), but once the flash is complete, the ICD Source Window fills with the following messages:

__start XXXX Bus Error - No Opcode
000003D6 XXXX Bus Error - No Opcode
000003D8 XXXX Bus Error - No Opcode
000003DA XXXX Bus Error - No Opcode
...

The ICD Status Windows fills with:

Error : Error in ONCE status register during instruction execution.

Maybe something went bad in my driver? Is there some sort of test I can run to verify my USB Nexus JTAG devices?

Thanks in advance for any help!

memory dump - decimal numbers

Hi everybody!

I use the MPC5643L microcontroller and the ICDPPCNEXUS Debugger for CodeWarrior.

Furthermore I store signal data from the ADCs in the memory.
For a memory dump I use the following commands:

1. (open) logfile
2. dump
3. (close) logfile

As expected the logfile consists of hexadecimal numbers.
Is it also possible to get decimal numbers?
I verify the signal data of the logfile by means of Microsoft Excel.
Hence, I need the signal data as decimal numbers in one column.

Gerald

MPC5676R

I am trying to program an MPC5676R using PROGPPC Ver. 1.38. It always reports back "Cannot enter background mode. Check connections." I have double checked all connections and cannot find anything missing.

I have used this same fixture and board with another brand of programmer and it works fine so I am sure that my fixture connections are correct.

Is there anything special I need to do for the MPC5676R to enter background mode.

Regards,

Paul
