Protecting code at the factory

We have a customer that refuses to allow the factory to have access to the code. For his products, we built our own programmer, loaded the code and sent it to the factory for the production run. This custom programmer would erase its code and would require a code re-load at our customer's office.

Do any of the P&E stand-alone programmers have to ability to do this? How do others protect the code?

Thanks,
-
Robert

Freezing at 87% when downloading

I've been having intermittent issues with downloading via the USB Multilink BDM onto a board that we just built. Our board uses the HC9S08AC60 microcontroller from freescale. I build, click the debug icon, and it will load up to 87% (via status bar on the lower right in codewarrior 6.3). Then it just hangs, for hours. Sometimes I can get it to continue by removing breakpoints, other times I'm hopelessly stuck and need to shutdown codewarrior. I'm new to the Multilink BDM, so the problem could be me. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Problem using cprog08sz.exe with USB Multilink

Hi.

I am trying to program a MC68HC908QT2A through a USB Multilink interface using the command line program cprog08sz.exe (v.2.05) without success. I get error message 48 (error contacting target).

Programming works fine when using prog08sz.exe (v.2.36).

The script used with cprog08sz.exe is verified working with a older parallel interface version of MON08 (with port 1 specified instead of usb1).

Is version 2.05 of the command line program supposed to work with the USB interface?

Regards
oknutsen

Like title says, I have ICDHCS08 v1.37 and it does not seem to recognize the CALL and RTC opcodes (e.g., 9S08QE128). For CALL it shows UNDEFINED and for RTC it shows CMS2 (what is that?)

Any fixes for that?
