How to use multilink univesal FX to program MC9S08SH32

  • My product is based on MC9S08SH32 platform, and my debug tool (programer) is multilink univesal FX. Could I use the 'PROGHCS08' toolchain to direct download the 'S19' file to this chip by Background interface? Further I need to config the trim frequency equal to 31.25KHz. Is this software suit for me enough? Thanks.

  • Greetings,

PROGHCS08 is the correct software and it will work with Multilink Universal FX. You can program your S19 or ELF files.

Within PROG you will see in the right-window a button to customize trim frequency to the value you want. Then use the PT command to program the trim value.
