  • Hello,

I am working on programming SPC560B54 with cyclone Max. i have a board with availbale pins as following:
    TDI
    TDO
    TCK
    RESET
    INIT_HI
    TMS
    +5v
the cyclone max has connector(14pins) pins with:
    TDI
    TDO
    TCK
    RESET
    VDDE7
    RDY
    TMS
    JCOMP

as showed above the pins cannot match each other. After connecting the matched pins, I have tried to connect RDY to INIT_HI, JCOMP to NC, and VDDE7 to NC.
when I tried to press START on the cyclone MAX, I always get a $00000007 error,
which means cannot enable the module. I guess the pins to pins connection have porblem.
But how can I fix this issue?

  • Greetings,

VDDE7 is power, so you need to make sure this is connected to the +5V rail.

I have no idea what INIT_HI is so you will need to figure out where this is connected to onto the chip itself using the schematic of the board.

You could survive without JCOMP and RDY for this chip so you can connect this to NC (No Connect)
