How to convert a .DO file for the BD32 tool to a .MAC file for the new ICD32Z tool
. Nov 30, 2017 at 08:04 AM (08:04 hours)
Staff: Johnny N.

  • Until now we have loaded our devices (Motorola M68340 CPU) with the obsolete BDM 16/32 LPT adapter and the BD32.exe tool. For the download of the image
a special .DO file was used, which seems to a a kind of macro file
    (see example below).
As the BDM 16/32 adapter is not more available, we want to replace it with the
Multilink Universal FX adapter and the ICD32Z tool.
Can somebody tell me, how to proceed with this new adapter and the ICD32Z tool?
Is it possible to convert the .DO file to a macro file (.MAC) of the ICD32Z?

Here the example of a .DO file for the BDM 16/32 LPT adapter:

    set mem $00600000
    set vk $00c00000
