PROGDSC for mc56f8346 forces module erase

  • We have a legacy application that uses the data flash memory as storage for calibration data. When try to use progdsc to reprogram the device, the calibration data gets erased in the process. What is the recommended procedure to only reflash the boot and program flash and leave the data flash intact? 
    Here are the details of the flash algorithm we use:

    freescale mc56f8346 1x16x72k freescale_mc56f8346_1x16x72k_all.dsp 1.04 08/25/2014 desc=all

    We can create a custom algorithm that only modifies the pflash on the MC56f8346. Could you please request a custom algorithm by using the following link:
