  • Hello,

I'm using Freescale's MPC5644A, programming it through CoderWarrior2.10, and downloading it through the PE debugger.
I found that there are two Reset scripts in the pemicro folder, namely, "mpc564xA_vle.mac" and "mpc564xA_booke.mac"",
What are the differences between these two documents? What should I pay attention to when using them?

    My e-mail is lishaoming@dpc.com.cn

We look forward to your reply.
    Best wishes to you!

  • Greetings,

The VLE macro is used for customers who have written their code in VLE, and the other is for BookE. There are 2 different kinds of instruction languages for PowerPC Nexus devices. The customer who created the binary file will know which to use. Or you can try both and see which macro file allows you to read the C-level and assembly code when debugging.
