new USB ML Universal FX does not work

  • Just received new USB ML Universal FX to replace USB ML 16/32 with connection problems.

    Same issues.

Start ICD16Z with or without either ML connected same messages appear:
    Windows NT detected.
Notice - Cyclone Pro/Max USB driver did not initialize. (1234BEEF)
    - Library=PEUSBMGR.DLL

PEMicro Connection Manager does not show the new USB ML Universal FX at all, and can not connect to either unit.

The PEFirmwareUpdater.exe for the USB ML Universal FX will not detect either unit.

Problems with not connecting to the USB ML 16/32 all started when I did the driver update to V12 drivers when directed to by Mikhail.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Tom

  • What version of ICD16Z are you running?

Can you paste the results of the our driver test here?

No errors were detected. Your P&E drivers are correctly installed.

IF THE PROBLEMS CONNECTING TO YOUR P&E DEVICE PERSIST:
      1. Disconnect all P&E hardware and close all P&E software
      1. Navigate to: http://www.pemicro.com/downloads/download_file.cfm?download_id=301
      4. Download and install the drivers on that page

      Tom
