  • Hello

My task is to develop on a S32R274. Because it is not on the market yet, I wan't to make shure, the purchased programmer will support it.

Please let me know, which of your debugger is able to
    1) flash
    2) debug

the Processor S32R274 with the NXP S32 Studio.

    Many Thanks and best regards,

  • Greetings,

All you need is hardware because the NXP S32 Power Studio handles all of the flash programming and debugging.

There are basically 4 hardware choices:

    a) Multilink Universal
    b) Multilink Universal FX

    c) Cyclone Universal
    d) Cyclone Universal FX

Our multilinks are designed to be used for prototyping and development pods. Our Cyclones are designed for production and has features like standalone programming and storing multiple programming images.

As you can see we have "FX" versions of both multilinks and cyclones, which are at least x3 faster on JTAG for the PPCNEXUS architecture. If cost is important, go for the non-FX versions. If speed is important, go for the FX versions.
