How to move a licence from one PC to other

  • Is it possible to move a licence from my dev computer to a production computer?
Or is it possible to unregister a licence?

  • Greetings,

Our license agreement is that licenses are single-user, single-seat. The license is tied to a person's name. When a license is purchased, limited number of activations are allotted and used up as the user activates the software.

Eventually activations are all used up and the user can then contact the PEmicro technical support to get help adding more activations if the license has followed the licence agreement. They cannot deactivate the software. Not following the license agreement voids the user from getting more activations. The user will have to purchase a new license.

So if the license is still being used by the same person, then continue with installing and activating the software as normal and contact technical support if number of activations have maxed out.

If the license is being transferred to a new user, contact technical support and let them know that it is being moved. This is essentially the same as unregistering the license and giving it to someone else. This is the safest route.
