  • Hi,
We would like to automate production process with old Cyclone tool.
    MCU are MC9S08SG8, MC9S12ZVL, MC9S12G48, MC9s08AW16.

Please suggest Library + API required for this.
Is that library would be compatible with new Cyclone FX tool?

  • Hi Rishi,

Which Cyclone do you have exactly? Cyclone Pro Rev B, Cyclone Pro Rev C, Cyclone Universal, etc?

Do you want to be able to control multiple Cyclones simultaneously or just one Cyclone with multiple programming images? Do you have a preference to develop an application with a DLL/API or use scripting?

  • Hi Johnny,
Thanks for reply. Please see my answer below.

    1. We have Cyclone Rev C.
    2. I want single Cyclone with multiple images.
    3. DLL/API is OK.

    • Rishi,

The Cyclone Automated Control Package Professional License has the DLL/API for the Cyclone Universal FX. The price per PC is $299.

      • Hello Johnny,

for an automated programming process, which SW I need to manage multiple images on a Cyclone Universal?
Actually I have a Cyclone rev. A. Is there any issue about comatibility of the programming SW between different Cyclone revisions? It seems to me now Cyclone has rev. C.

        Thank you very much.

        Best regards.

        • Hi Alessandro,

We'll be glad to provide some assistance to help you determine the best product for your needs. Since every customer's situation is unique, please create a new forum post and describe your specific requirements in more detail. What microcontrollers are you trying to program? How many Cyclones do you want to control? Do you prefer using an API/DLL or commandline?
