programming .bin .hex file to opensda device

  • 1. I know a tool named pegdbserver_console.exe in the nxp ide KDS directory.
    This tool allow user to download image to board, but not support .bin .hex file.
    2. Does anybody know how to flash .bin .hex to opensda device which firmware is pemicro.

    Or is there a documentation to show the pemicro dll details?

    Can you please clarify what exactly you are trying to accomplish?

    Which OpenSDA board are you working with? If this OpenSDA board is programming with a DEBUG/MSD application, you can program your binary or .hex file into the board by simply dragging and dropping it into the mass storage device.

    Overall though, P&E GDB plugin is designed to be used within Eclipse IDE for users that want to program FLASH and debug as a part of an Eclipse based debug session. It is really not geared towards supporting run control and FLASH programming outside of the actual development IDE.

    Test software on different boards which need to programming= once the code is changed.
    I know PEmicro well supported for kinestis series. We hope using pemicro to replace jlink based on considerations of funds.
    so far our programming are automatic, we cannot use drag and drop. I want to know
    what can i do using pemicro for kinetis board to accomplish automatic programming.

    If you are working with a low quantity of ARM boards, you can use a combination of P&Es Multilink ACP hardware debug interface ($150) along with PROGACMP standalone FLASH programming software ($199). PROGACMP flash programming software allows you to program ARM devices in interactive as well as automated command line console mode:

    For complete production programming standalone automation, P&E has a line of Cyclone Manufacturing programmers. The one for ARM devices can be purchased for $599.
