  • As the example showed to use CPROG:

    C:\PEMICRO\CPROGHCS08 INTERFACE=USBMULTILINK PORT=PE5650030
    C:\PROJECT\GENERIC.CFG /PARAM1=C:\PEMICRO\9S08DV128.S8P
    “/PARAM2=C:\PEMICRO\EXAMPLE FILES\TEST.S19” /PARAM3=VM

Question 1) where to insert :CUSTOMTRIMREF nnnnn.nn?

Question 2) Do we need to repeat CM since we put param1 ??

    Exemple of GENERIC.CFG:
    RE               ;Reset the MCU
    CM C:\PEMICRO\9S08DV128.S8P      ;Choose Flash Module
    EM               ;Erase the module
    BM               ;Blank Check the module
    PM               ;Program module
    PT               ;Program Trim
    SD               ;Secure device
    RE               ;Reset the MCU

  • Hi Daniel,

The example in the manual is shown as follows:

    /PARAM1=C:\PEMICRO\9S08DV128.S8P
    /PARAM2=C:\PEMICRO\TEST.S19
    /PARAM3=VM

    RE ;Reset the MCU
    CM /PARAM1 ;Choose Flash Module
    EM ;Erase the module
    BM ;Blank Check the module
SS /PARAM2 ;Specify the S19 to use
PM ;Program the module with the S19
    /PARAM3 ;Verify the module

Notice how /PARAM1 is used to insert text into the script file. So to answer your "Question 2", your /PARAM1 and /PARAM2 are ignored since they are not referenced in your script.

As for "Question 1", you can insert :CUSTOMTRIMREF nnnnn.nn at the beginning of the script. Below is what your script should look like:

    C:\PEMICRO\CPROGHCS08 INTERFACE=USBMULTILINK PORT=PE5650030
    C:\PROJECT\GENERIC.CFG /PARAM1=C:\PEMICRO\9S08DV128.S8P
    “/PARAM2=C:\PEMICRO\EXAMPLE FILES\TEST.S19” /PARAM3=VM

    :CUSTOMTRIMREF 32768.00
    CM /PARAM1 ;Choose Flash Module
    SS /PARAM2 ;Select object file
    EM ;Erase the module
    BM ;Blank Check the module
    PM ;Program module
    /PARAM3 ;Verify the module
    PT ;Program Trim
    SD ;Secure device

    • Awesome, that works! thanks a lot
