openSDA gdb server on Linux

  • Hello,

I'm trying to debug an S32K MCU through openSDA on linux from a command line. However I'm missing the gdb server from P&E. The only thing I was able to find was the gdb server as a plugin into Eclipse, however not a standalone one. Is the gdb server available for Linux with some user guide at all or just as an Eclipse plugin?

Thank you very much for your help,

  • Greetings,

Currently it is only a part of a plugin for Eclipse, especially for S32 IDE. We have no plans to have a standalone GDB outside of Eclipse.

  • Dear Takao,

thank you very much for your reply! It's a shame there is no standalone gdb server. I can only hope this will change in the near future!

However thank you very much once again and have a nice day,
