Multilink universal Rev C - unknown device

  • Goodmornig,
I have this strange problem: device unknown.
the device is a Multilink universal Rev C.
    - New drivers v12.4 installed
    - New PEmicro fiemware update intalled
    - Old versione Multilink rev B works good and it is recognized like Juno Multilink v2.0

The same Multilink rev C works ok in other pc, same o.s. win 7 64 bit.
But each time I link this object to usb port in my portatile it is detected like uknown hardware.

I've tried several time to unistall and reinstall driver ect... but no way..

I think some keys in win register are corrupt, is it possible?

    What more can I do?

    Thanks
    Filippo

    • Filippo,

When installing new drivers you must remove PE-MLU, install the driver and plug it back in after driver is installed. Hope this helps.

  • Filippo,

    This is very odd.

Are you plugged into an external hub or directly to PC?

  • Directly to pc, same result on each 4 usb port...

  • Filipo,

Can you please email me at kevin.meyer (at) pemicro.com

I would like to remote into your machine and manually uninstall the driver.

    Best,

    Kevin
