xPC56xx ver B and MPC 5604 IO Output Level 3.3v fails

  • Hello,

I am using the mentioned Evalboard and MPC. When I try to set the VIO to set the peripheral logic level to 3.3V it stays at 5V.

So far I have changed the J4 - VIO Peripheral Logic Level in the Power Modul to, is there any other change I have to take into consideration?

    Thanks a lot.

  • Hi Martin,

The VIO on the XPC56xxMB selects the VIO voltage level for the peripherals on the motherboard. It does not affect the logic level on the daughter card. You will have to set your logic level on the daughter card separately. If your daughter card only works at 5V, you should not select VIO to use 3.3V

    Best Regards
