Using Multilink Universal as a standalone programmer

  • I have been using the Multilink Universal for development/debugging from within IAR. What software do I need to use the device for standalone device programming (from a bin file)?

  • Greetings,

We have software called PROG that can be used to flash program your binary files, however, we have multiple flavors of PROG software based on the architecture you are working on.

Let me know which chip you wish to program and I can point you to the right software.

    • Hello Takao

(Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I've been away from office)

We are using the Kinetis MK22FN128VLH10

  • Greetings,

Then the software you need is PROGACMP:

  • Greetings,

Note, that if you plan on going into production then I highly suggest you get a cyclone hardware. Our cyclone line of products do not need you to buy a license for software and you can use the cyclone in production without a computer. Let me know if you are interested.
