Multilink Universal not working out of the box.

Staff: Gerardo R.

  • Attempting to connect (via port G) to a (Freescale/NXP/Qualcomm) Kinetis MKE02Z32VLD2 (44 pin).

IDE is Kinetic Design Studio (V3.2.0).

Both blue and yellow lights are illuminated on the Multilink.

Attempting to launch debugger first updates firmware, then gives me an error box:

"An error occured while connecting to the interface . . . "

Multilink is new out of the box.

Target board is also brand new. This is the first attempt at debugging.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

  • Ok. This is a bit embarrassing.

My ribbon cable header was not quite right, so it was not making good connection.

    All better now . . .
