Disable the second deice reset after programming it.

  • Hello,
    We are using Freescale Kinetis desighn studio version 1.1.1 with Multilink Universal Rev B (PE5655114).
    The device that we are programming is K02F128M10.
    We want to protect our flash.
    when we secured our flash :
    the multilink program the flash , than verify the flash and than reset the device.
    After the second reset the programmer detects that the flash is secured and performed mass erase.

    How can we disable the second reset and erase of the device ?

    Within KDS, no you cannot avoid the reset after programming. You must understand that within KDS the end goal is to start a debug session. You are programming flash to be secured and the KDS software is trying to now start a debug session. It will end up erasing the chip. KDS is not meant to be a flash programming tool.

    If you get P&E's PROGACMP software, then you will have the ability to simply flash program without having to start a debug session:
